26 years in production IT.
Zero patience for nonsense.

CJR Digital Solutions is Collin Richard — there's no team to route you through, no ticket queue, no offshore help desk. You call, I answer, and I actually know your systems.

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

His core strength is end-to-end technical support and infrastructure management. He has spent over two decades maintaining complex systems, troubleshooting across diverse hardware and software stacks, and delivering reliable, user-focused support in high-demand environments. His experience spans network administration, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and legacy-to-modern system transitions, with a consistent focus on uptime, stability, and practical problem resolution.

Collin has significant experience supporting organizations within the associations sector, delivering secure, accessible, and highly reliable web and IT solutions in environments where governance, member services, and information accuracy are critical. His work has focused on modernizing platforms, resolving persistent technical issues, and ensuring that essential resources are consistently available to members and stakeholders.

He operates effectively within Agile/SCRUM environments and collaborates closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure technology supports broader organizational goals. His long-standing partnerships, including more than two decades supporting major industry events and associations, reflect a consistent ability to align technical systems with real-world operational needs.

Collin complements this foundation with strong digital execution capabilities. He designs and implements web and content systems that increase visibility, drive qualified traffic, and convert users into customers. His work in SEO, content strategy, and data-informed optimization has consistently improved engagement, conversions, and overall digital performance across both B2C and B2B contexts.

He is also an experienced front-end developer, working with HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript to deliver responsive, maintainable web experiences aligned with brand and usability standards. His background includes CRM administration and workflow optimization, improving data integrity, streamlining customer interactions, and supporting more effective sales and communication processes.

Collin combines enterprise-level experience with practical, hands-on support — able to design and manage complex systems while also resolving everyday technical issues quickly and efficiently, whether that means stabilizing infrastructure or remotely troubleshooting routine problems as they arise.

The background

Before going independent, I spent 26 years in production IT — 23 of them as Manager of Websites and Information Systems at Moto Canada (MMIC/COHV). That's over two decades of being the person responsible when a system goes down and people are actually waiting on it.

I'm an Honour Roll graduate of Humber Polytechnic's Web Design & Development program, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Music and Education from York University. Along the way I've completed an IBM TCP/IP Bootcamp and multiple Seneca Polytechnic programs — Windows Server administration, Applied E-Commerce, and Internet Security — on top of the two decades of hands-on production experience behind them.

Today I work directly with associations, events organizations, and growing businesses across Canada — handling their websites, their Microsoft 365 and Google environments, their networks, and the hardware underneath all of it.

How I work

I don't do vague retainers or confusing tiers. I look at what's actually wrong, tell you straight what it'll take, and fix it — whether that's a five-minute call or a multi-week infrastructure project.

I quote by the job, not by padding the clock. And if something's outside what I should be doing myself, I'll tell you that too, instead of guessing.

Because it's one person handling the whole stack — website, cloud, network, hardware — nothing falls through the cracks between vendors pointing fingers at each other.

TRACK RECORD

Two decades of national-scale IT, not just a resume line.

National Infrastructure

Motorcycle Industry IT — Canada-Wide

Supported motorcycle-industry infrastructure on a national basis for over two decades — not a single office, but systems relied on across the country.

Live Events

The Motorcycle Show Circuit — Coast to Coast

Full IT infrastructure, soup to nuts, for the entire national motorcycle show circuit — Moncton, Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver. Websites, email, networking, hardware, and on-site support, built and run under real event-day pressure at every stop.

Enterprise Role

Moto Canada (MMIC/COHV)
